As a student of Sociologymyself, I have studied Sociology and Social anthropology and found it quite fascinating because it not only makes you understand the theories of social systems but gets you acquainted with the social processes too, and addresses the issues related to social development systematically. Also while studying Sociology we work closely with every aspect of the society and people. Since its inception, our department has evolved multi-fold in terms of staff composition, number of students and course curriculum, and is still growing. We have internationally proclaimed teaching faculty and visiting faculty. They are very committed and impart value-loaded lectures to our students. Their lectures are suitably revised for each new session and the latest references and latest progress in the field of Sociology are included in those.
